The IPCG leads in shaping corporate governance, promoting transparency, accountability, and ethics. Their mission is to enhance corporate governance literacy across various sectors of the Portuguese economy. For their 20th anniversary Gala Dinner, they sought a partner to bring their vision to life—a modern, vibrant event that reflects their forward-thinking values.

The goal was clear—usher IPCG into a new era with an event that was far from the traditional “grey” vibe associated with legal corporations. VOQIN’ was tasked with creating a Gala Dinner that symbolized the institute’s evolution toward a more dynamic and modernized future. We needed to transform the formal atmosphere into one of elegance and allure, using strategic event design to evoke emotional connections.

“Juntos traçamos o caminho para o futuro” or “Together, we pave the way to the future” became the event’s driving theme. The event concept, created using our Emotional Thinking Methodology, encapsulated a high-end journey where we aimed to provoke emotions like:

/ Trust: The event should evoke trust in the IPCG’s leadership. The attendees would leave feeling confident in the institute’s ability to guide them into the future.

/  Desire: Exclusivity and sophistication to create a sense of desire to be part of something extraordinary. Attendees must want to be connected to this success and leadership.

/ Joy: The event must carry moments of celebration and lightness, bringing attendees joy through shared experiences.

/ Belonging: The event should foster connections between participants, reinforcing their ties to IPCG and its mission, making them feel like an integral part of a meaningful cause.

We translated this vision into every aspect of the evening with a concept that emphasized exclusivity and celebration. Gold to symbolized prestige, circular graphics to represent the corporate world, the board meetings and the diverse forces united in collaborative spirit of corporate governance; and a deep blue, velvety background to convey trust and reliability—core values of IPCG.

/ Venue & Atmosphere: Held at one of Lisbon’s most unique venues, the event atmosphere was both chic and inviting. Surrounded by lush greenery, the glasshouse venue created an ideal setting for a winter gala, offering a warm, sophisticated ambiance despite the season.
