2002

The Lisbon Consortium

Once upon a time… That’s how every great story starts, right? Ok. So, in a period of great uncertainty, one year after the Twin Towers collapsed, Diogo Assis was brave enough to take on a new venture – The Lisbon Consortium – with the purpose of positioning Lisboa, Estoril and Sintra as the best destination for worldwide corporate events.

2004

Rebranding to TLC 360º Events in Portugal

It was the worst of times; it was the best of times. No, just kidding, it was THE BEST OF TIMES.

As every kid with 2 years, the discovery of a larger world than we imagined made us gain new sights and if you think about it, TLC 360º makes much more sense as we were operating in more destinations than Lisbon. This year we managed 27 events during the football Euro2004.

2005

Music to our ears

And then came music, wooow! It’s not like we were singing our lungs out, although we really felt like it. This is the year we were lucky enough be involved in organizing the MTV Europe Music Awards in Lisbon. Not bad for a new kid on the block.

2006

Cars

4 years may be a bit too soon to start driving but, hey, we’re maturing and we’re into cars, what else is there to do? Organize car launches such as the European Launch of the Lexus LS 460 with 3000 guests from all over the world!

2007

Strike a pose

Not really. But we did have Stryker Sales Meeting in Lisbon with 1500 delegates, 6 5-star hotels, congress centre with full on production and 10 dinner venues a day.

2008

A Superb year

Literally. Or else how would you classify the year in which you can close a whole city park for 22 days for an event? Because that’s what we did for the World Launch of the Skoda Superb, for over 6000 people in the lovely Praça das Flores. Still today the neighbours enjoy a better park as a legacy of this worldwide launch.

2010

Every story has a bit of drama

The picture could be one of our inspirational photos of sparks and fireworks but it’s not. Remember Eyjafjallajökull? Best not to, really. The volcano eruption put us to the test with a huge crisis to manage but we did it! The year was saved by other good memories, such as the 2000 delegates Boeringer Ingelheim Congress with Parexel, still a client to this day.

2011

Don't stop me now

With the British Royal Wedding as a Case Study for event organization and a new rebranding, Events by TLC goes abroad and opens new offices in Brazil. There’s no stoping us!

2013

We're all about rewarding employees

Symantec Back to Back incentive for 1400 Achievers was so good all we’ve got left are this lousy photos of some design pieces.

2014

¡Hola! Madrid

It’s not Hola but Olé that becomes Events by TLC as the company expands to Spain. The world is our oyster.

2016

Let's not make a big case of it

Naa, let’s do it! Events by TLC acquires Case in Brazil allowing the company to dive deeper into Live Marketing, Creativity and Production as new skills in the company.

2018

The Year

Events by TLC and Case become VOQIN’. Closer to our purpose the new brand embodies our beliefs, our vision, and our experience. The whole is always stronger than its parts and we have been purposely provoking emotions since then.

2019

As the world becomes more digital, we become more human

All clichés aside, we care about people above everything else. With that in mind we’ve developed our own methodology that allows to plan all our events with an emotional design thinking. The way to capture the audience and create a meaningful impact: through emotional experiences. This approached proved to be the key to engage and capture people’s hearts and 2019 turned out to be our best year ever!

2020

Turning problems to opportunities

With the world at a full stop, VOQIN’ creates EMEX, the only digital events platform capable of delivering EMotional EXperiences and can bring people together and engaged in more than 30 digital events.
