I’m a fast paced, goal oriented and passionate meetings and events professional with an entrepreneurial spirit.

I’m also a Harvard Business School Alumni – Owner and President Management Program, OPM 51, 2018. I graduated in Hospitality and Tourism and featured in the 40 under 40 business leaders ranking in Portugal by Expresso, FAE and Exame. I’m also a YPO member.

I’ve founded the company in November 2002 with a vision to be the best in class blending deep destination knowledge with brand activation and production capabilities. We’ve been creating emotions since then. I’m married with a young family of 3 children, a lifelong supporter of Benfica and a (several) marathon runner with a love for food & wine. My latest passions are golf and Spain, where I currently live.

How does a Mining Engineer passionate about photography and cooking ends up in the events industry? It’s simple – I find a solution for any given challenge, always trying to find the right angle to get the best picture with a special flavor for each palate!

Photography taught me to observe others and in cooking I found a way to express my giving personality. At the end of the day, it’s all about people!

You could say I’m a creative and visionary leader, always ready to push boundaries like when I tackled the grueling Antarctic Ice Marathon in 2015. Talk about risk and challenges, this one nearly got me killed!

My entrepreneurial journey spans diverse fields, from health to technology. At VOQIN’, I’m in charge of financial strategies, processes and innovation.

Diogo and I go way back to our Harvard OPM days. Beyond business, I’ve inspired many as a professor at IADE University. When I’m not crunching numbers, you’ll find me seeking new adventures. My dynamic approach and adventurous spirit make a perfect fit with VOQIN’s forward-thinking team.

I’m a Board Member at VOQIN’, passionate about tech, AI, and yes, I smoke a pipe. But, as René Magritte famously reminded us, “Ceci n’est pas une pipe.” Similarly, mine is not just a pipe either; it’s my moment to pause, question assumptions, challenge reality, and spark provoking ideas. In the spirit of surrealism, I enjoy connecting creativity and strategic tech solutions to push boundaries at VOQIN’ and explore new realities in service of extraordinary experiences. Disruption with purpose?? I’m in!

It was supposed to be just a 1-month job… it’s been 15 years now!
I like to get my hands dirty and feel at home organizing everything – from volunteering at my hometown fair to a 3000 pax, multiple venue event. I’m the proud mom of one young boy and a borrowed mom for the entire VOQIN’ team. My dream is to live in the countryside and welcome people.

I graduated in business management and proudly hold a Certified Public Accountant degree. But my real passion lies in the kitchen. I’m a culinary artist with a knack for numbers.

Cooking is my creative playground, where I weave flavors, textures, and aromas. I believe that good food has the power to nurture relationships and create a sense of belonging. It’s not just about feeding the body; it’s about feeding the soul.

Now, let’s talk music. Since I was a little kid, it has been my ultimate joy and means of expression. I’ve dedicated a solid 8 years to studying classical music. Music is a language that speaks to the heart, evoking a wide range of emotions, from sheer exuberance and joy to introspection and profound melancholy.

I’m the master of meaningful connections and the queen of sales and operations. With my trusty Incentive Travel Professional (CITP) certification, I’ve conquered the tourism and hospitality industry for a whopping 19 years, becoming a global expert in the process. When I’m not rocking the business world, you’ll find me biking to the beach with my fearless kiddos, jamming out to Pearl Jam, and immersing myself in epic music festivals. Travel and reading also light up my world. I’m all about optimism, creativity, and making a meaningful difference. Oh, and sharing is my most treasured human trait.

I have specialized in developing, innovating, and driving growth for the brands I have led, across markets and industries. My career as taken me from FMCG to Luxury Retail, and now Events. The line that connects everything? Emotions.

Whether leading world-class brands at Unilever, or crafting luxury menswear ethos into brand comms and service standards, it’s always about the audience and their emotional journey.

Being a marketeer, a husband and a father of five has shaped me into a “bridge builder” who combines adaptability and commitment with leadership, pragmatism, and a hands-on, get-things-done mindset. I’m Curious, creative, and a strong communicator, always closely connected to the arts, history, and writing. Oh and the countryside is never far away.

A shy and introvert like me ending up in communications? It’s a mystery only to be explained by my intuitive, observing and listening nature, the other side of it we hardly ever mention.

My professional journey reflects my will to challenge myself, to learn and push forward.

With a background in Art & Design I think better with a pencil and paper on my hand. I’m into drawing, singing and am a flower collector, which suits my name.

I believe that emotions are our best guides and that educating the heart is key for being happy. Joining VOQIN’ as Emotions Creators aligns perfectly with that which interests me the most: what lies underneath the surface.
