We’re delighted to share that our office and team in Portugal are now certified as Clean & Safe.
We are now proudly among the 16,600+ businesses in Portugal with the Clean & Safe Stamp. From airports to hotels and from conference centres to golf courses the number of businesses being certified grows every day as Portugal looks to safely ramp up its leisure and business tourism activities.
In order to achieve this certification, we developed an internal protocol, under the guidance of the Clean & Safe stamp’s regulations. The protocol ensures proactive hygiene measures are in places across our activities to reduce the risk of contagion and create a safe environment for our team and our partners. The protocol also includes a full risk assessment, specific online team training and contingency plans in case of infection. Random checks are carried out by the certifying entity to make sure the protocols are adhered to.
This unique initiative is managed by the Tourismo de Portugal, under strict guidelines from the Portuguese Health Authorities. It is one of the current initiatives focused on promoting Portugal as a safe destination. Portugal was also the first country in Europe to receive the World Travel & Tourism Council’s “Safe Travels” Global Protocols & Stamp.
